Climb aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned, twelve passenger coach for an 8-hour narrated small-group tour of the beauty that is Hyannis by sea. Enjoy a 1-hour cruise around the harbor with views of Great Island, Squaw Island, the Kennedy Memorial, Point Gammon Light, and the historic Kennedy Compound. Travel to Provincetown, where an exciting day of exploration awaits on the outermost point of Cape Cod. Be entertained as you wander through the crowds on Commercial Street, or perhaps you would prefer to visit a museum, climb a monument, or simply relax on the beach. Visit the Highland Light in Truro. The tour guides are courteous, knowledgeable and committed to outstanding customer service.
In the morning, meet downtown on Main Street in Hyannis and be welcomed aboard your comfortable coach, offering large windows for viewing the beautiful sights of Cape Cod. Small group tours provide opportunities to meet other vacationers visiting from all over the world. Water and snacks are provided. Restrooms are available at all stops.
The tour begins as you pass St. Francis Xavier, the church of the Kennedy family, and the charming artist shacks along the harbor, as you travel to your first stop, the Kennedy Memorial. Here, you'll have a choice of Hyannis Harbor cruise or J.F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum tour (at own expense). Back onboard, the fully-narrated tour will highlight interesting landmarks, and entertaining folklore along the road to Provincetown.
Once you arrive in Provincetown, hop-off and explore on foot. There are many options available for lunch (at own expense). Your guide will be happy to share advice on where to eat. Stop by the Provincetown Library to see the scale model schooner that fills the second floor. Continue to the third floor for spectacular views. Enjoy the carnival like atmosphere of Commercial Street, where you can shop for art, antiques, and a multitude of eclectic items. Visit the Provincetown Museum or climb the 116 steps to the top of the Pilgrim Monument. Relax at McMillan Wharf. Fascinating architecture, towering sand dunes, and beautiful beaches await you.
No visit to Cape Cod would be complete without a lighthouse. View the iconic Highland Light in Truro, the oldest and tallest lighthouse, also known as the 'Cape Cod Light'. A 20-minute tour, which includes a 69 step climb up a narrow staircase, may be arranged for an additional fee.
After, return to Hyannis at approximately 5:00pm as you rest and reminisce about your amazing day.
